McDonald Golf Club, Ellon

Fraserburgh Golf Club
Founded in 1777 and later redesigned by the five-times Open champion James Braid in 1922 the course is a good yet fair test of golf. The fairways are well separated by seaside grasses and many species of rare wild flowers flourish including the Northern Marsh Orchid.

Craibstone Golf Centre
Situated on the SAC’s Craibstone Estate which is located 5 minutes from the Granite City of Aberdeen at the airport roundabout on the A96. The highly acclaimed 18 hole golf course opened in the summer of 2000 and has matured exceptionally well in the short time it has been fully playable. The 18 hole, par 69, Parkland course measures 5613 yards and is a fair and enjoyable test for all levels of golfers.

Inverurie Golf Club
The Clubhouse, which is all on one level, enjoys open views over the 1st and 18th fairways, as well as over the town of Inverurie, and the open countryside towards Bourtie and Keithall estates to the East, and the Don valley and Aberdeen to the south.
Visitors are welcome and will enjoy the friendly atmosphere in the Clubhouse as well as the highly recommended meals and snacks prepared by the caterers.

Kintore Golf Club
Although not as long as some – measuring 6019 yards from the medal tees – the course means the visitor cannot afford to be overconfident. The course is a mixture of hilly parkland, and holes lined by trees and criss-crossed by burns producing some very interesting and tricky holes.

Although a relatively short golf course at 5,350 yards and par 69, the natural woodland, water hazards, and large contoured greens require accurate play from the discerning golfer.
