Mill of Elrick Fishery
Mainly stocked with Rainbow Trout, the Mill of Elrick Fishery can be found just north of Ellon.

Whether you are a beginner, an occasional fisher, or an experienced fly fishermen, you will enjoy the facilities that are on offer. These include a tackle shop, tackle hire and help is available if required!

Follow the New Deer (A948) road out of Ellon and Mill of Elrick is about 7 miles along this road on your left hand side.

Ythan Valley Fishery
The Ythan Valley Fishery is situated to the West of Ellon and as well as Rainbow trout there is a possibility of landing Wild Brown Trout or Land Locked Salmon.

Tackle and flies can be hired and some tackle can be bought. Tuition and advice is available for those who would like help.

From Ellon, take the B9005 Methlick/Tarves road. Follow the Haddo House signs, cross the bridge over the Ythan, take the next right. The Fishery is well signposted.
