Between Inverurie and Oldmeldrum you will find the Lochter Fishery, 12 acres of beautiful countryside which consists of four lochs stocked with rainbow trout up to 20lbs in weight. Facilities include a nice picnic and barbecue area, a restaurant, toilets, and a licensed bar. The Lochter Visitor Centre even caters for larger occasions such as weddings! Access for the disabled is good. Lochter also offers various activities such as clay pigeon shooting, rally karting, archery, target golf, mini highland games and putting. They also specialise in the corporate market.
